Michael Jackson joined Savarino Companies in 2016 as an Asset Manager specializing in affordable housing. He manages leasing and operations as well as long term financial planning for Francis John Apartments on Buffalo’s East Side. Jackson is a Licensed NYS Real Estate Salesperson and a Licensed Property Manager. He holds certifications from the National Center for Housing Management for: Occupancy Specialist, Tax Credit Specialist, Manager of Housing and Manager of Maintenance.

Mr. Jackson is fiercely supportive of the history and resurgence of Buffalo and is a proud transplant from Minneapolis. He has called Buffalo home since 2004. Community involvement includes serving as a founding member of the Manchester Place Block Club and active volunteerism. Mr. Jackson is a Board Member at Arts Services Initiative since 2017.

Jackson has almost 20 years of experience in operations and facilities management experience primarily in the non-profit sector. He is a graduate of Luther College, Class of 1998, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Business Management. In 2012, he completed the Key Person’s Leadership Development Program at UB Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
