Artspace Loft Apartments and Studio Space
1219 Main Street, Buffalo, New York 12,000,000Savarino Construction Corporation served as Construction Manager at Risk for this project. This 110,000-square-foot, multi-purpose arts facility consists of live/work units in two buildings for local artists, as well as 13,000 square feet of street-level commercial space. A total of 60 units occupy the former Sarabeth Building, which has undergone historic adaptive reuse for that purpose, and a new building has been constructed on the rear of the property. The first of its kind in New York, the project is similar in scale and scope to several other artspace projects around the country.
