Explore & More Children’s Museum Interior and Exhibits

Savarino Companies was retained by Explore & More Children’s Museum as Construction Manager at Risk for the interior fit-out of their new museum at Canalside in Buffalo, New York. Savarino also provided construction management services for the construction of the core and shell of the new museum and for the fabrication and installation of exhibits and furnishings. The shell building was constructed by Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation for the exclusive use of Explore & More. The new four-story, 43,000-square-foot facility houses many interactive exhibits, including a two-story water feature and food-service facilities.

The Architect for the interior construction was Foit Albert Associates of Buffalo. Exhibits were designed by Gyroscope, Inc. of Oakland, California. The exhibit fabricator was Art Guild, Inc. of West Deptford, New Jersey.
