Savarino Companies served as Developer and Construction Manager at Risk for the historic adaptive reuse of the former St. Clare Roman Catholic School in Buffalo’s “Valley” neighborhood.  The four-story mixed-use facility includes 11 market rate apartments and a commercial office space on the first floor.

Built in 1896, the school building was part of the historic former St. Stephen’s Church complex.  The building is a rare example of a neo-gothic church school built before 1900.

Federal and NYS Historic Tax Credits were utilized for project funding.

Savarino Properties now serves as the property manager.
