University at Buffalo Educational Opportunity Center

Savarino Companies served as the General Contractor for the construction of the new Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) for the State University of New York at Buffalo and the State University Construction Fund.

The building is comprised of six levels, with 75,000 square feet of floor area that houses computer labs, classrooms, offices and a library. The project is LEED Gold-certified and features a “green” living roof. The UBEOC is the cornerstone of UB’s downtown campus and allows the University to enhance its job-training programs in the health sciences, information technology and environmental industries.
